Postgraduate Intensive Diploma in International Hotel Management (1 Year)

This accelerated program is designed for recent graduates and career changers who want to progress quickly to managerial roles. Semester one focuses on hospitality business management, combining theory with practical classes. Students spend the second semester on a professional internship.

  • Education: An accredited bachelor degree in any field. Those with at least 3 years of work experience at the managerial level may apply to receive a Professional Diploma.

Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management for Luxury Tourism (9-12 months)

This program is designed for graduates and professionals wishing to fast-track their career in marketing management for the hospitality industry. Develop your expertise as you learn from guest lecturers representing leading luxury brands. You will reinforce your learning through an internship and a supervised case study.

Postgraduate Executive Diploma in International Hotel Management  (1.5 years)

The Executive program allows working professionals to combine their studies and existing career through intensive courses 4 weeks of on campus teaching spread throught the 9 months. Learn from industry leaders as you master universal business skills and gain an innovative vision of leadership, resource management and decision making.

Undergraduate Programs Les Roches Marbella


BBA in International Hotel Management (3.5 years)

The BBA in International Hotel Management combines academic theory with real-world practice while on internships, to create fully rounded experience. This degree will prepare you to enter the hospitality industry with a strategic approach, confidence and enthusiasm.

In the final semester you will choose an specialization where you will take a variety business management courses and specific classes for the chosen specialization: Strategic Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship and SME Management, Resorts Management and Events Management.

  • Normally 18 years old and above. Students can be under that age provided they are 18 years old by the time they start their 1st internship.
  • A completed application form or submitted online application with all pertinent attachments and a non-refundable application fee of 250 Euros.
  • An official copy of your High School Diploma or equivalent. Students must have completed their full higher secondary education (IB, A Levels, 2º Bachillerato, Abitur, Baccaulareate, Gymnasium, or the High School Diploma) or at least six years of secondary education and provide evidence, supported by complete information on the school, including school transcript and/or certificate of public examination (including an explanatory note of the grading system).
  • A complete CV. Pre-Study Plan brief essay stating the reasons why you choose to study Hospitality Management at Les Roches Marbella. Post Study Plan stating your future professional goals after graduating.
  • If English is not your mother tongue or if you have not spent the last 3 years in an English-taught school, please enclose one of the following official certificate and scores:
    • TOEFL : minimum score of 525 points for the paper based test or 70 IBT.
    • Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE): grade C - Please also send the statement of results with your detailed profile.
    • IELTS: Academic Module minimum Overall Band Score 5.5 and min. 5.0 for each part (listening, reading, writing, speaking).
    • All English certificates must have been issued in the last 12 months prior to admission. If on application, your official English test results are not available, applicants will be required to take the Les Roches Marbella English entrance exam, and provide your official English results thereafter.

BBA in International Hotel Management with Intensive English (4 years)

This program prepares students to meet the formal English language requirements for entry into the BBA program at Les Roches. In addition to the English courses, this two-semester program focuses on hospitality operations with practical and academic classes.

Admissions Requirements
  • Age - Normally 18 years old and above. Students can be under that age provided they are 18 years old by the time they start their 1st internship.
  • Education - A High School Diploma or equivalent. Students must have completed (supported by an official Certificate / Diploma) at least six years (for the Diploma program) and at least 7 years (for the BBA program) of secondary education and provide evidence of it.
  • Complete information on the school, including school transcript and/or certificate of public examination (including an explanatory note of the grading system) should be provided.
  • English Qualification - English level in order to attend our Intensive English Language course as follows:
    • TOEFL: minimum score of 450 points for the paper based test or 45 on the Internet Based Test (IBT).
    • Cambridge: need to have the Preliminary English Test (PET).
    • I.E.L.T.S. Students minimum overall band of 4.5 and score at least 4.0 in each discipline (listening, reading, writing, speaking). Please also send the statement of results with your detailed profile .

Diploma in International Hotel Management (3 years)

The Hotel Management Diploma combines practical hospitality courses, including rooms division, reception, and restaurant operations, with basic hotel management theory courses. With the Hotel Management Diploma, students can begin with entry-level positions in hospitality businesses.

This diploma includes the foundation years of the BBA in International Hotel Management, and serves as either an exit-point or as a way for students to extend their payment schedule with the extra internship.

Hospitality Summer Program (1 or 2 weeks)

In July 2017, Les Roches Marbella will host a summer program for anyone with an interest in studying toward a global career in hospitality. Students can choose to attend the program in Marbella for one or two weeks.

You will discover the essence of hospitality by living and learning on campus with people from all over the world. Expect to be fully immersed in this dynamic industry from day! You will experience a behind the scenes look at the daily operations involved in managing a successful hotel and even feel the pressure of running a topnotch kitchen operation as a head chef.

Enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean resort city of Marbella; its beaches, outdoor sports and the amiable Andalusian culture.

BBA with Cross Cultural Hotel Management Specialization (3 years)

The Bachelor Degree in International Hotel Management with an extra specialization in Cross Cultural Management, as with the original Bachelor program, prepares students to enter the world of hospitality with an strategic approach to business, ready to lead and manage.

By specializing in Cross Cultural Management students gain the added value of focus in more than one subject field, as they also complete one of the four specializations offered by the original Bachelor degree.

Aimed at those looking to learn or improve Spanish as a foreign language, students will be able to choose from a selection of elective subjects targeting linguistic and cultural competencies, depending on their Spanish level at the beginning of the course.

Thanks to the adaptive learning model, students will finish the program with an advanced level of Spanish language and an Official Spanish language exam by Instituto Cervantes, a vast knowledge of Spain's culture, and most importantly a complete understanding of management in cross cultural settings.
